I decided to have this blog be more then drawings. I am  at my uncle's beach house and am having a blast. Each year my dad's side gets together down here in Delaware and I always look forward to this week. I got to drive one of the jet skis out on the bay yesterday which was LOADS of fun. I am going to church tomorrow with my grandma and grandpa and then my other cousin is coming tomorrow. One of my goals this year is to really get closer to my family members and be a witness by my actions to those who are not believers.There are two new puppies here named Molly and Audrey. They are funny dogs and they love to randomly jump in the pool . Well, that's all for now. Have a lovely weekend!

AT THE FOOT OF THE CROSS

 

There are times when we may feel lost, hurt, or afraid. We may be in need of comfort and there is one place where we can always find it: at the foot of the cross. I guess I was thinking of John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress for inspiration for this drawing. I drew this at a time when I was feeling lost and alone and knew that the one place I can always go is to God.

Pleading with God

This was drawn off a still from the movie Les Miserables starring Liam Neeson as Jean Valjean. He is pleading with God and we too must plead for salvation and aid.
I love the book Les Miserables. It is worth reading and it is very hard to explain the plot. That is for you to find out if you choose to read it in the future.
Another thing this picture just reminded me of is how Jesus pleads  before His Father for each one of our souls.

   "In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans."
